Hi folks,

Anyone here have any experience or tips on where to go for solo hire in the Marbella area or Jerez? Anywhere to avoid?

Thanks guys - do you know if these places will require extensive checking out on their club aircraft for an active UK instructor with plenty of hours? Just wanna hire one for a quick one hour bimble yasee, but I don't wanna get arse raped for an hour of "local familiarity training" with their instructor or any other little extra's they could insist upon in order to hire...

VFE, try this thread (http://www.pprune.org/forums/private-flying/210835-ppl-aircraft-hire-malaga-costa-del-sol-spain.html) which I wrote a couple of years ago on Aircraft hire in Southern Spain ! 172Driver has also contributed many good pieces on this subject over the years.

For Marbella you can probably do what I did above.
