Extra Duties

We are in process of negotition with our management regarding Extra Duties allowance. Could you share the Extra Duty Allowance applicable in your country, also specify if there are any other conditions attached with like Maximum number of duties, when it is allowed e.g. say before or after night duties. If there are any agreements in print/soft copies then pls send it on [email protected] It will be of a great help. Every one understands how difficult is to convince management for remunerations issues related to ATCO

The most unusual solution,
there is no extra duties. It is cheaper to train youngsters than to ask qualified ATCOs for extra duties.

Personally I do not consider this solution as bad because once they trapped you into overtime you may forget your free days,holiday leave etc.
So my recommendation is to avoid by any means overtime. If you have possibility. Nothing can change freedom and family.
