OTA Airport, Nr Lisbon LPOT-Does it exist?

We had OTA airport (LPOT) as an alternate on our plog yesterday - No Notams , no wx Metars & TAF's available and certainly no plates in our Jepp's.

Does anybody know anything about this place?? Does it exist?

I believe I have seen it when flying eastbound from the north of the field .... I think it's an airbase, saw some Hercs parked up ... just looking at my Portugal chart, but it's not on there :confused: , just the town of Ota.

Looks like it's about 30d on the 030R from LIS VOR.

Are you sure it wasn't Alverca ?
