Gatwick Runway Usage and Airfield.

Hello,

I have been asked by my teacher to Research on the worlds busiest single Runway Airport.

I need to find out: It's capacity per hour. I remember seeing Record 62ATM per hour.

Were can i get information on it's traffic flow and traffic statistics and stuff like that and Runway capacity and usage.

Every statistic you could possibly want from ACL (http://80.168.119.219/reportsStatistics.aspx?id=98&subjectId=27&childId=28)

This summer's Gatwick runway statistics are here (http://80.168.119.219/UserFiles/File/LGW%20S08%20Start%20of%20Season%20Report.pdf) on page 12 and would suggest an hourly declared capaity (take-off or landing) of 50. It should be feasible to move 60 an hour from any runway with appropriate rapid exits and 5 nm spacing in the right conditions, but things normally happen to make 54-56 more realistic.
