KLM Fokker 100 reported being struck today at Birmingham, about 6-7pm and during their taxi.

Didn't look like serious damage, but they disembarked passengers on the taxi way with fire svc in attendance before towing the AC away and "cleaning up the debris"

Anyone know the details so I know who/what to look out for in future :ok:

A push back truck struck the airplane at its nose cone ...

The aircraft was still parked at BHX this afternoon with no sign of it going anywhere so I don't know where they got the info that it was back in service.

Must be a busy day for everyone - other ground incidents would have got the usual rabble rousers frothing at the gash by now!! ;)
