After this fine spell of recent weather has brought reverse pattern ops to my local airport, Manchester for a good 2 weeks, I was just wondering what the respective longest number of consecutive days are for reverse patterns at major UK airport with approx E-W to NE-SW runway orientations?

I don't know but at MACC, EGCC on easterlies makes being in work slightly harder (outbounds cross inbounds to/from the South and it's the Westerly departures which have to make the tight turn inside arrivals from the East/North), but out of work it's sunny (for Manchester) and I don't want that to change!

Defruiter, tell me about it! Easterly ops for nearly 3 weeks here at MACC and it doesn't look like its changing any time soon. Those grey hairs are coming in thick and fast!!! :ooh:

If I may enter this forum, the great heat wave and drought in 1976 saw EGLL on easterlies for about 4 weeks at one point (July/August).
