Can you do a night rating for JAA licence with:

FAA CFI
N registered aircraft
FAA school
in the USA?

IF you can find a CAA examiner willing to sign you off if I recall correctly.

You don't even need a CAA examiner.

The night qual can be signed off by the Instructor.

The only thing you have to watch is that each landing is signed off as a full stop in your log book.

And it needs to be done at a CAA authed organisation

Section E4.1 in lasors

So I would say no. But speak to them they don't seem to bother to much about it.

If your going on to CPL you don't need it added just training complete.

Edited to add this is only advise for UK JAA licenses other countrys seem to make more of a fuss about this sort of thing
