Intentionally Blank!!!!! But its not blank, they wrote on that page to tell us it was blank. You all know what Im referring too, does anyone else have any observations of daft goings on in our wee world of aviation.

It's not daft. It's done so that when new editions of a publication are made and extra information is added, the page numbers do not have to be reformatted. If you have loose-leaf versions, then it's easier to remove one out of date page and insert two new ones. This is why there are extra pages.

If the sheet was left totally blank, people would then query whether there had been a printing error.

There's usually method behind the madness.

Cheers

In these days where we get a lot of our information on-line it's a bit redundant but when documents were only available on paper, as Whirly says, it was necessary so that you knew that there really wasn't any information on that page as opposed to a printing error.

A couple of days ago someone where I work sent a blank email to the entire company, presumably by mistake. Several minutes later he sent another one to the whole company saying "Please ignore my previous blank email"...

Worrying.

The lift in the building where I work has just had a notice attached saying
"confined space", which begs any number of questions.....
