Worried that the weather may not be too good so dont want to go too far on Sunday?
Want to see something different?
Want to see the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight close up?
Want a FREE LANDING?

Why not come to the North Weald Airfield Fly In and Open Fun Day this Sunday?

It promises to be a great day out for all the family. A wide variety of community, business, leisure and aviation based organizations will be on show with their Stalls/Displays/Attractions. Hot/cold refreshments will be on sale throughout the day with a BBQ and pay bar open at The Squadron from 12noon.

A highlight of this special day will be the formal roll out and unveiling of the airfields new gate guardian. A full sized replica of a Hawker Hurricane fighter aircraft that flew from North Weald during the Battle of Britain, symbolizing The Spirit of North Weald Airfield and its community since flying began here in 1916

Following this there will be a Fly Past by the BBMF and various locally based aircraft.

PPR is essential on 01992 524510 to book a "slot" and to receive the necessary "briefing".
