Folks,
I know that Danny moderates umpteen forums, but I saw a thread about safety on of the other forums and wondered if ther was a case for an FS forum ?

There are two Aviation Safety web sites with extraordinary info.

Hi GlueBall, Those two sites are good for news about accidents, ADs, NPRMs etc but they don't offer an informed forum to discuss safety. I'm interested in the way society accepts a level of safety - ALARP but who decides what's reasonable and how does this change with time, media bias etc. There is always a balance between safety and cost - if too much money is spent on safety then few people can afford to fly. BUT people die in air crashes so how can it be moral not to spend whatever it costs. Enter CBAs with all their problems.
