The Royal Aero Club are holding air races this weekend at Leicester.The race on saturday is at 1500 local and 1200 on sunday,the airfield will be closed during the race which lasts about an hour.There is no charge to come and watch other than a landing fee,and if the handicappers get it right the finish can be quite exciting

Ah yes, remember them well.
Tripacers Vs Bulldogs Vs Sf260's Vs C337 and Long eze. All diving for the finish line together. We even managed a couple of entries ourselves, fronting a Yak50 (pet shop boys), and Lofty in the Cassut (never again to see a 6' 6" bloke squeeze into something so small.
It is great to see that Leicester is again hosting the races, although the Stewards and Kings cup were always held there in the past.
