Hey everyone, I've got a university project to do on human factors in ATC.:ugh: I'm looking at the UK system.

Can anybody tell me anything about the current systems/computers that are in place?
also anything about future systems to be implemented!?

Best starting with the nats website...also your location would make it ideal to visit manchester, which has area/approach/tower. Give them a call i'm sure they can help. As for human factors , nats been working on this for years so could give you a bit of insight. Good luck with your research. Finally remember there is more than just nats in the UK providing ATC services. Others such as serco, RAF, peel holdings, and local run airfields , ie newcastle.:ok:
