I've spent all morning trying to find a list of FI examiners on the CAA website....can someone enlighten me to what I'm missing...or is there no such list at all?

If no such list exists can someone please recommend FIEs in either the Midlands or Yorkshire.

Cheers

Don't know if a list exists but there aren't many of them.

From what I know:

1. Carol Cooper, Andrewsfield Aviation, Andrewsfield
2. Andy Simmons, Atlantic Flight Training, Coventry
3. On Track Aviation at Wellesbourne
4. Peter Godwin, Bonus Aviation, Cranfield

Thanks for the responses.

I will try to get hold of Stuart Anderson (although LFS website goes straight to Cloud9...I can never keep up with politics)!

As for Leicester. I phoned them and John Pugh is now doing the FIC ratings, but isn't examining.

Thanks

I'd avoid the above if I were you... i have heard of instructors who have walked out of renewals with him.... and one who he told that he was taking up too much room in the cockpit!

I have a list, it is in PFD format so I don't think I can post it here, if you PM me your email address I can send it, though it may not be until Tuesday as I am away on a course and not sure what internet access I will have.

The latest Standards Doc 31 (http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/33/srg_lts_Std%20Doc%2031_v109ii.pdf) contains the detials of all FIEs, not as one might expect in a list but alphabetically (that's a new one for the CAA!) as persons authorised to conduct Examiner tests. As that authorisation will only last till April 2014 it won't be there for ever!
