Hello,
i was wondering about this scenario:
Lets say there is somebody who got his JAA PPL(single and multi engine ratings, night qualification and IMC) 4 years ago, with no desire to fly commercially at that time.
Now, 4 years later he/she decides to become an airline pilot. Based on the fact that he took 7 written exams for the PPL, does he/she have to take all 14 writtens for the ATPL now? Or he/she gets credit for the 7 he already took? Whats the actual procedure?
thanks
