Thinking of introducing a discount fee scheme for aircraft with silencers and/or efficient propellers, but wondering how it could be policed.
If you had a piece of kit fitted, you'd presumably have some sort of approval, but would you have a specific certificate that you could produce as evidence?

Supplemental Type Certificates, I should think.

Don't EASA registered aircraft have a noise certificate? I'm looking at one right now that says 63.4dba.

CJBOY - despite EASA I have given up trying to get an EASA registered aircraft onto the CAA register. 6 months and thousands of pounds of paperwork for nothing so it will return from whence it came (certification wise) and still fly here as a very standard USA built aircraft.
