Amazing. The CBC reported a landing gear failure as the title to their own article which stated a flap indication problem, and our own intrepid link poster refers to the CTV article on a flap or flap indication problem as a brake problem.

Do they not teach reading in school anymore?

I thought that Functional Illiteracy was a problem that the US had the market cornered on. :(

I know that, at max gross & that sort of problem, you need over 10,000 feet of tarmac or concrete!db16

From CTV News...

In the last 12 months, First Air filed 127 incident reports like today's. A much larger airline, Air Canada, had 96 reports in comparison.

Using the only way I know how to get incidents in Canada....

http://www.tc.gc.ca/aviation/applications/cadors/English/Query/queryframe.asp

I found 114 incidents for First Air and 839 for Air Canada and 451 for Westjet.

Is it possible that a media outlet doesn't know what it is talking about.

And to make matters worse, the Globe and Mail reported that the B737-200 had to dump fuel
