I am hoping to do a student exchange from New Zealand to Vancouver for a few months - and am wondering what's involved in converting my NZ PPL so I can do a bit of flying over there!
Also, I might be going over to Toronto for a bit, in the middle of winter - does general aviation shut down entirely over this period? (i.e. is it worth even thinking about flying while in Canada over winter?).
Any light you can shed on this will be greatly appreciated.
