Hello everybody

I´m a spanish air traffic controller who is learning japanese. I´d like to know the translation into japanese for the most common air traffic clearances, such as:

Climb to flight level...
For traffic separation turn right xx degrees...
Descend/climb to flight level...
Copy traffic information...
Expedite through flight level...
Call xx radar on frequency...
Cross position xx flight level xx or below...
Etc.

Can you help me?
Thank you.

Having operated to Japan for many years, I have never once heard ATC in Japanese, it has been English only.
However, in Spain, spanish is often heard.
I don't especially object you understand, but at one time I was operating a sub-service flight for a spanish carrier, and ATC started right off with spanish.
I asked the First Officer to not reply, as ATC will realise soon enough that we are not spanish speaking.
And so they did, with an apology....much to my complete surprise.:}

The only Japanese I ever heard in Japan, on VHF or HF - was...
Konichiwah - Konbanwah - (domo) Arigato - Sayonara
Is all you need to know, they will appreciate if you say these words.
And after landing, to ask for beer - Biru kudasai...
Kampai (is "cheers") -
This is all I needed for layovers in Japan.

Lasiorhinus, thank you very much for your help.

411D, that´s true, we use both languages, but spanish only when it´s a spanish speaking carrier.
When it comes to traffic info or separation involving one or more english speaking pilot we always use english for all the transmissions.

BelArgUSA, I thought they used japanese when talking to a japanese pilot, I´m afraid what we do here in Spain is not very common.

Arigatou Gozaima****a! (Thank you very much)
:ok:

Casiel: We do the same in Mexico, but if you are flying a mexican registered plane and start talking to ATC in english they have to answer you back in english.

Zunito, we also do that in Spain. We use spanish only if the pilot prefers this language and there is no english speaking crew involved.

Saludos.
