Anybody heard about that AFR flight that did a go around really low on 24R at YUL due to traffic not vacating quickly enough?

Yeah!
There was an aircraft on the runway. Since there is only room for 'one at a time', AFR had to 'go-around'.
Not a very common occurrence, eh? But, happens even at the best airports.
AND...
sometimes ATC can run things a little tight.
Who knows?

That's always the way, eh? The press have nothing much to do and something like that always makes for sensational news.
The recent AeroMexico DC-9 that hydroplanned off the runway in northern Mexico???
According to the press, it 'crashed' on landing.
I suppose it 'crashed' into some buildings as it ran out of runway and through the airport fence. But, generally, airplanes that 'crash' fall out of the sky and haven't actually been on the ground in the landing rollout. Have they???
