Don't mean to discourage you but getting a work visa for a pilot position in Canada is virtually impossible due to the huge numbers of Canadian pilots kicking around currently without a job.

Maybe you could get a "Working Holiday Visa" for a year.
Check out www.bearskinairlines.com (http://www.bearskinairlines.com) for a job. I came across the name while surfing the net and thought it was pretty cool.
1000 hours of which 100 must be multi-engine.
Maybe...
good luck.

Canadian Work Visa is not that hard to get, www.canadiantourism.com (http://www.canadiantourism.com) , I think, there is a reciprocal agreement that allows you to work in Canada for twelve months , it's called the Australian Working Holiday Visa, cost is $165AUD.

Not 100% sure about this but I understand the the 12 month work visa CAD exchanges with AUS applies to people who have not had the 26th bday yet. Make sure you check properly. Good luck!

Plenty of jobs around your hours of experience. Bearskin just started service from Buttonville in Toronto to Ottawa and London Ontario.
