Hi folks,
I commenced flying lessons in July 2006 and ceased my flying indefinitely in January 2007 due to a lack of funds and a wish to concentrate on finishing my HSC.
I've now finished the HSC and am working a part time job here and there, my workplace conveniently being located next to the airport. Anyway I am seriously getting the flying bug again and am weighing up the situation. My last flight was at the end of January 2007, and my next flight was to be my first area solo, which I never proceeded with due to halting my training. Would you think it's feasible for me to get back into the game, and what would the situation likely be? Would I be required to basically re-learn just about everything or do you think the flying school would be happy to pick up where I left off basically? No doubt I will need to do a check flight (or two, or three) of some sort in order to demonstrate that I am still competent with what I have learned.
I will be asking these questions direct to the flying school in due course, but I wish to gain an opinion from here before I take any further action regarding the matter...
Any help you can provide me with would be most appreciated.
Thanks!
