Where do they state that they're looking for YVR-TWR?

i was told via navcanda-email. no idea whether this is still valid or that person really is responsible for the selection process. do you know it better?

No, I don't know it better..... Do they consider you as an applicant out of a high density TWR (CGN) - the layout is quite similar isn't it?
Just asking cause YVR has about three times more A/C movs. than CGN has....

well, i don't know what they consider "high density". when they emailed me though, they said cgn would be a good place to come from.
i don't have the current a/c moves from both places. the statistics i know, yvr had almost double than cgn. but figures is not all that matters i guess.
it'll be up to navcanada what kind of atco's they're looking for.

It appears that navcanada has pulled down the experienced controller hiring page on the website, or maybe my browser is broken.

Does anyone know the current status of this program?

"The program is being overhauled" was the latest my manager told me a week or so ago. I pointed out to him that some of the information (salary) was 5 years out of date and that maybe it should be "overhauled" sooner rather than later. Someone, somewhere is listening.
Watch that space...

I moved here from an airport that did about 200K movements and YYZ does 418K now. You're right, movements isn't everything, but they do still need to be convinced if you want to move up a long way.
