Another question I'm afraid,

I've done a fair amount of research about mil formations in RVSM airspace and it seems that if operating as GAT, even if all elements are RVSM equipped, 2000ft sep has to applied. If they are crossing then surely they are still OAT but couldn't find anything specfific for OAT.
From the flight planning guide it suggests that non-RVSM equipped mil formations (RVX) can operate in RVSM airspace.
Can anybody please clarify if a mil formation flight can cross UK CAS in RVSM airspace?
From my understanding they can, but 2000ft is to be applied regardless of RVSM status.
Thanks

2000' separation is to be applied to formations in RVSM airspace regardless of the RVSM status of individual elements of the formation.
