Hi all,

I'm looking at doing the FIC at the end of the month, I have a fairly well paid job so I wouldn't want to give up my current job.

Would flying schools employ a part time instructor, I have around 15+ days to offer a potential employer per month, I even have my roster a year in advance.

Simple answer... yes. most if not all flying schools will employ part time ppl instructors.

At my place there are 5 of us who all teach just on sundays.

Take a look at the FTN magazine, also available online, you should see adverts for the same.

Are there many schools out there who will accept FIs working irregular hours ie every other weekend or a few days in the week? It seems many airline guys teach as well and surely their days available for instructing must be random?
