JAA Class One Medical Fees...Variations

I'm wondering how much medical fees vary from AME to AME.

I've recently been charged £160 for a Class One revalidation. This included an ECG. The day before my colleague travelled a little further afield and was charged £127 for a Class One revalidation that included an ECG and an audiogram.

I would be especially interested to know of any AMEs who offer less expensive medical examinations in the Midlands area.

I've just been charged £210 for a renewal with ECG and audiogram, got charged VAT this year

Class 1 inc ecg & audio £184 London area.

I was charge £120 in cash, not a word to the taxman, for class one, ecg and audio. Chaps you need to negotiate. The is no set fee it's down to the AME.
