Hi,
Are there many caravan operators in the region who hire low hour pilots (250-500TT) with ICAO CPL/SE/IR (before local conversions)?

Do you already have the C-208 on your license? If not the SA operators won't hire you without a South African license and most other van operators in Africa operate them as single crew so won't hire you at your hours.
Plenty of other kinds of work though flying piston singles in the bush. P2 hours in a C-208...... don't really see the point myself but I guess hours are hours.

I'm working on my CPL at the moment, so I'm looking at what options are available world wide as a new entrant to the market. From reading websites of most of the caravan operators, it is very much the case you need 1000+ PIC and /or C208 rating. And I can understand why, due to the nature of the flying.
