Apart from extending pump life, does anyone know a reason for turning off an electric fuel pump (which is supplementary to the engine driven pump) on a light piston trainer (Firefly) above 3000feet?
If you are climbing for stall/spin/aeros, you'll only be switching it back on again during the HASELs, in which case the on/off demands may be just as fatigueing for the pump.
And before any of you start, I do get out quite a lot and although over 40 do not still live with my mother. Just got a plj to complete.
