Hi,
The UAE GCAA is selling the CARS (civil aviation regulation) CD for 1200 dhs.
Any idea of where to find similar information for free ?
Many thanks

No - sorry, no idea.
As an aside though, it it just me - or is charging for CAR's a good way to ensure that nobody will read or abide by them?
Somewhere, deep in the GCAA there is doubtless a cretinous accountant rubbing his hands together and waiting, waiting, waiting...:ugh:

Maybe you are not meant to read the regulations. Think about the ability to answer a $$ saving(grabbing) memo with "no can do, please see UAE GCAA XX.XXX"

Information is a dangerous thing in the wrong hands.

:\ Well, I think he'll keep on waiting for a while...
Thank you anyway.
Does it mean that everybody here already paid for the brick or that nobody ever read it ???

Rather confused, generally a authority offer the regulations free. In the cyber world they have a web site giving access to the current regulations in force. Even Qatar have this facility available and at no charge.
