RAF Leuchars Flying Club

Was wondering if anyone knows if RAF Leuchars Flying Club is still operating. I've been trying to contact them (unsuccessfuly) for some time, by e-mail and phone. I'd very much like to speak to someone about joining, bit i'm a wee bit wary about sending the membership application form, with a cheque for the membership fee, if no-one is there to deal with it.

I know the runway at Leuchars was being re-surfaced recently and that the club had re-located while the work was in progress.

I'd be very grateful for any info.

Yes, tried them all. After phoning the main airbase number and trying every extension, i then spoke to the telephonist who wasn't aware of the existence of a flying club.:}

In case anybody looks up this thread, the club is fully operational with a Robin DR400 and a full time instructor. (Posted December 2010)
