Afternoon all.
It's a dull day with little to offer and I'm bored, so inspired by the Bob Davy thread and the Caribbean blog I thought I'd ask whether anyone else had tried blogging about their flying exploits?

yeah - it's a PPL training blog though, so probably more interesting for fellow students. I'm about 30 hours in...

Yeah, I'm about 40 hours in.:)

Funny that people seem to Blog about their training and not about what comes after? Kind of worrying that.

Ok, it's not specifically a flying blog, more photos (and flying).

It is because we don't like links to blogs................ :suspect:

Why not?

Isn't the whole idea of a forum is that it's a virtual community, with blogs being an external link in and out?

It's also not consistent with the other external links which are now stickies - flying videos for example.

Nothing to do with external links at all. I just don't want this forum swamped with links to blogs, now that would be boring, would you like to log on everytime to a forum full of links to blogs? no, neither do I and that is why there are hardly any..........

Fair enough, whack in a sticky for it - one thread.

You could even pre-approve them - hell, I'll even pre-approve them if you want.

I started a PPL log, sadly it just consists of me moaning about the weather, lack of instructors at my school. :ugh:
