Hi all.I am consediring heading to Moncton Flight School in canada to start my training in January for six weeks.Just wonderinf has anyone else been there or whats the weather like in Jan.Also any tips for a beginner.

I was out there in September doing the Canadian ATPL stuff. First Class organisation very organised with a good fleet.

The weather in January is like the arctic, not a good time of year for flying unless you get some clear days and then the viz is outstanding. Pretty much for the next couple of months it just snows!

A nice route is over to Debert which is an ex mil wartime airfield with a flying school of it's own.

My friend was over from Canada for the last week and sent me a photo this evening of the couple of feet of snow they have at the moment.

Canada is a stunning country with the most friendly people and the exchange rate and no hassle on visa etc make it a more desirable destination than the states.

Nova Scotia is where I intend on migrating to in the next few years!
