Is it possible to hold more than one JAA PPL?

For example, a French issued JAA PPL, Irish JAA PPL and UK JAA PPL?

Or does one have to surrender one to convert to another?

(See JAR–FCL 1.010(c))

[(e)] An applicant shall hold only one JAR–FCL licence (aeroplane) and only one medical certificate at any time.

There ya go, am sure its in LASORS as well.

Cheers. Wasn't having a go, btw. It was my impression that you could only have one but couldn't find a reference.
