Hello!
Is there any difference between an A332 and A333 in performance??
With performance i mean takeoff distances.

On the same runway (performance wise) a 200 (full noise and ICAO STANDARD DAY) is capable of carrying about 16T more than a 300, or at maximum derate a 200 will lift about 11t more. I'm sure the generalised charts would show that the 200 would carry the same weight from a shorter runway than a 300.
ps
The weight the 200 can lift (performance wise) at full noise is about 20T above the certified maximum take-off weight of the aircraft, therefore there would only be a small difference to the runway length requirement.

Thanks for your answer Back Seat Driver ;)
So you mean that the A332 can carry more weigth at a short runway
than the A333??
is that reason why the -200 has a shorter takeoff distance than the -300??

There are too many variables to answer that question, but basically the A332 & A333 have the same wing, and similar engine thrust output. (The 200's I operate have just a couple of thousand pounds less thrust than our 300's). But basically the 200 is the longer range aircraft by virtue of its lower empty weight and therefore its ability to carry extra fuel, if the centre wing tanks are installed (An extra 32,000 KG or thereabouts). All I can say for sure is that a 200 will use slightly less runway than a 300 IF they are carrying the same payload and using the same take-off thrust in identical enviornmental conditions.
Does a 200 use less runway than a 300? Maybe, maybe not. It depends on the specifics of each take-off.
Can a 332 lift more weight from a shorter runway than a 333? That also depends on the A/C's MTOW 202T or 232T and its engine thrust output. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I was in a conflict with a man about this.
He said that the 332 would have the same takeoff distance as the 333 when they are carring the same weight and same weather , thrust etc..
The question is , is this true??

I mean you said that the 333 will have a longer TOD then 332 if they are
carring the same weight and i trust more on you , but is that something that i have missinterpret or something??
If someone please could clear this out i would be very grateful!
