As above landed today PM with fire escort. Held on the taxiway for about an hour with fire and police around it, with more fire, police and paramedics waiting down by Virgins Hanger 7. Steps went down to it, but were not needed, then tugged back to 130's with various emergency services still in attendance.
Just a question about a not ordinary arrival?!

Jetset Manchester to Palma diverted into Gattters, airconditioning problem.
Parked on 135 and pax transfered to B757 on stand 101.

Oil smell in flightdeck maybe!

Believe it was a pressurisation related problem.

Believe that the extra services in attendance were due to miscommunication 'somewhere in the chain' as to the real problem
