A lot of recruitment/recommendation is done by word of mouth and headhunting. It's a small world and a good reputation goes a long way (that's me stuffed then).;)

http://www.aviationlabour.com.au/

This is an Australian company. Contract labour and permanent placements. Currently looking for Heavy Maintenance engineers to work in Australia. The aviation industry is booming in Australia off the back of the rest of Asia China/India boom. This comapny also assists with immigration visas and will sponsor the engineers with the right skills.

Even in hard copy, Aviationjobsearch is not a newspaper though, and it includes jobs for aircraft wreckers like pilots, cabin crew, management and other assorted riff-raff.

I reckon reading a newspaper dedicated to aircraft engineering would be fairly tough going though - unless it was run by "Dunny" and his gang of reprobates...

P.S. Does the paper version of Aviationjobsearch have a page 3? Does it? Does it? :ooh:

A publication loosely based around the "Sunday Sport" format could work............http://www.thegoldenrivet.com/forum/images/smilies/0126.gif
