I'm reading my ATPL notes and under the requirements for single pilot operations, I find the following:
* pilot's conversion and recurrent training, blah blah
* recurrent checks, blah blah, and
* the pilot needs a minimum of 50 hours flight time on the specific type or class of aeroplane under IFR of which 10 hours as pilot in command.
So how is the last point implemented in practise? Fly with another pilot for the first 50 hours, or what?
