I sat next to the pilot on a TG BKK-PNH the day before this crash. He and his crew were on their way to pick up the An-12. Nice, friendly guy, good English speaker. I heard they were overloaded on take-off.

Quick & dirty translation (& my French is quick & dirty):

A cargo plane of Cambodian outfit Imtrec Aviation which was carrying out a flight on behalf of PMTAir (PROGRESS multitrade Air) crashed into a rice paddy on the outskirts of Phnom Pen, some moments after it's takeoff from the international airport.

The aircraft, An Antonov AN12 of Russian construction had taken off just after 21:00 local from Phnom Pen, bound for Changi airport, Singapore, carrying a cargo of clothing & with 5 crew, when some minutes later, the plane crashed into a rice paddy some 20km from it's departure point for reasons as yet unknown.
