Need points to compare between the follwoing 3 model aircraft:
Dash 8 Q300, Dash 8 Q200 and ATR 42-500.
- Comparative economics between Dash 8-300Q and ATR 42: both configured with 48 seats: initial cost of acquisition, operating costs, maintenance etc? Also with 20 kilo baggage per pax, amount of extra cargo carriage?
- Is there a big difference in oeprating costs vis-a-vis the 37 seat Q200 and 50 seat Q300? Would it make sense to maintain a limited fleet of Q200's alongside Q300's in a 1:3 ratio or are the differences in costs too small to warrant having a different sub-type?
- All models support full meal service with hot-galley?
-Operational characteristics of the 3 models in airports at altitudes above 5000 feet ASL?
