EZY Diversion to STN 6/10

Hi there.

Anybody knows what happened on the EZY that landed in STN yesterday afternoon, followed by firetrucks and medics??

Only thing i know is that it was on-route from NCE to BRS when it diverted, and medics used a long time onboard after arriving at the gate, and it took even longer before the passengers got offloaded into busses???

Yes.

Essentially a divert to STN followed by an a/c change to get the happy punters on their way again ASAP :)

Not exactly an on-route diversion, then? Was it a landing diversion? If so, why was the change of aircraft needed?

Just wondering.
