As young Albert said of his day at the sea:
...nobody drowned, 'Fact nothing to laugh at at all.
Bring on the lion, I say.

Thousands and thousands of people got up this morning, had their breakfast, kissed their loved ones goodbye, and went to work. Most of them stopped off at some point and had lunch, though some skipped it. At the end of the working day they got in their cars and drove home, had a meal, and went to bed. They didn't get killed or injured, they didn't kill anyone else. They didn't encounter any raving maniacs, or get struck by lightening, or hit by a light aircraft with engine failure. Most of their friends and relatives did more or less the same thing, so they didn't even hear about any disasters...unless they happen to read newspapers.

All pretty amazing really, considering what a dangerous world we live in. Do you think I should tell the media? Surely this would make a great news story!

I was one of those. Just 15 minutes in the circuit. Made my day despite the 45 minute drive to the airport and 45 minutes back. Fortunately the traffic jams were all in the other direction. Hee hee.
