Hi,

I aspire to be an ATCO with NATS and as I will be in Gatwick at the end of October to sit my FISO written exams, I wondered if a visit to the tower may be possible. I know it’s unlikely, but I thought I would give it a try. Would anyone be so kind as to frop me a PM of the contact details for the ATC unit.

Many thanks in advance

I can PM you the phone number if your still looking for it.
I tried today, answer was no even though I work at Gatwick airside so I have a pass and security clearance.

Unless your applying to be a trainee ATCO they don't accept requests. :(

I suggest trying the smaller or less busy units. Having been recently phoning around recently. . most of the major units all say the same thing "they are busy, don't have the manpower to give tours", "no personnel to be with you . . . " etc

All the best in your searches
