Northrepps - End of an Era Fly In 22nd September

Hi All

Bad news and Good News.

The Drop In airfield in North Norfolk near Cromer closed last weekend and held an "end of Era Fly-in " approx 50 aircraft turned up.

The Good news is that is opening again in October just one mile away on a new site with two longer runways.

As someone who flies overhead both old and new regularly and seen the new emerge from the crops, I'd like to wish the owners and users the very best in their new home! It looks (from 2000' at least) brilliant.

What about G-LAZA (and smoke) on Sunday.

Still waiting for copies of the photos that someone took with a enormous lens. Saw them on the 1" screen on the back of the camera and they were great. Should be fantastic on a decent screen.
