Whats up with Silverback Cargo in Rawanda? Last I heard they were grounded with one bird in Maintenance in Joehanesburg and the other parked in Kigali. Does anyone have news?

It's actually very strange as I also noticed their website has been down for quite sometime now... I wonder if they're still in business!:)

Just checked their website and it seems they're back on...:bored: no details on what is currently happening as far as business or flight operations for that matter!!!:hmm:
Regularly see Silverback's DC-8-62F (9XR-SD) around SHJ, EBB, NBO, and JNB. Believe that 9XR-SC is undergoing C-Check.
Seems Silverback is concentrating on African, and Africa to and from Middle East market, going from sterngth-to-strength. Hear they are also shopping for a DC-8-73F.
9XR-SD was in JNB on Fri evening 6 Oct 2007. Seems they are still flying strong,...best of good luck with their operation! :D
