Does anyone have any more info?
According to their web-site they are boarding the plane to Reykjavik right now -
could not find any current NOTAM, so things must be running (again)

Incident at Vagar Airport this morning
Atlantic Airways experienced an incident during taxi this morning on RC362 bound for London Stansted.
As the captain experienced that the wheelbrakes did not function fully, he chose to bring the aircraft to stop in the safety zone on the runway shoulder.
The aircraft was brought to hangar for inspection and passengers transferred to a replacement aircraft.
The flight between London Stanstead and Shetland Sumburgh has been cancelled today due to this and passengers transferred to other flights.
