Just interested in finding out the pay for F/O's at KLMuk. Do brand new F/O's HAVE to start on the F50 or can they start on the BAe 146?

Although we did have direct entry jet F/O a few years ago, now they are all starting on the F50 - pay is about 22K with a rise in April.

Just to update it now appears that we will indeed be advertising shortly for direct entry jet F/Os on the F100 for KLMuk and 146 for buzz.

Aerobat,

Is the pay different for starting FO's on the F100 and 146?

Also is the plan still to get rid of all F50's in next 1 to 2 years? (To be replaced by what, less capacity or new aircraft)

Cheers

Basic jet F/O is 32ish although I believe direct entry guys are on less for the first year, do not have the details on hand here at the moment.

What are the conditions like at KLM / Buzz. How is the roster working and how many night stops a month. Is the £32 000 for the jet effo inclusive of flight pay. What is the take home pay jet and TP.

What is moral like? I have heard that they are loosing loads of people to Ryan and Ezy. True?

Thanks in advance.

Just had a new pay deal voted in at KLMuk.

starting pay for a direct entry jet f/o (f100 146 737) is £33369, for turboprop f/o its £22976. You get paid allowances which average about £5000 per year, i am a year 5 f/o based at STN and take home average £2500 per month, AMS based f/o will get about £3400 but pays for his own accom in AMS.

As for days off we have just been awarded a further 18 days off per year

If you are asked to operate additional sectors on the day you get £75 per sector as a captain and £50 as an f/o.

If asked to work a day off a payment of £300 for a captain or £200 for an f/o a day is given as well as the day off given back on a future roster. You do have the option to refuse to work a day off.

Moral has been low over the past year, however i think that things are starting to move foward for the better. we have lost a few pilots to ryan but only 2 to EZ as far as i am aware. Most who have left went to Virgin or BA.

Training is exellent and a great bunch of guys and girls to work with!
