Heard it was a 737 and had engine trouble. Anyone know any more?

I assume it was the Toulouse that we're talking about here, if so then I can tell you as the P1 there was no engine trouble. What we had was a fluctuating EGT guage, both the analogue and the digital, but all other engine parameters were perfectly normal. Having discussed with Maintrol it was decided that a return to MAN was appropriate as we would be unlikely to be able to get the problem resolved in TLS at the time of night that we get in there.

Hope this clarifies the reason for the return.
