Rumor has it that a crew from a Dash 8 were stoodown for 4 weeks because the "Manager for Morale" and fleet mangr, obviously an expert in the area, said they operated "Fatigued".
Allegations and letters were exchanged and in typical SOP's, the "criminals" were found guilty without any basis of fact or medical examination on the part of the company..............
When is this farce going to stop - He has embarrased himself and the company yet again - the iron bar mentality must stop. Time for TM to be pulled into line - HE IS A DISGRACE AND A BULLY.

Maybe if the didn't roster such long days and short overnights crew wouldn't get fatigued. :ugh:

I would like to see what would happen if crew started calling ops inbound "Sorry we're going to park it for the day and go home. We are feeling fatigued". I wonder what TM etc would say then. :suspect:

Good morning, crewing...
Hi XXXX, this is Capt Bloggs. Listen, we're feeling a wee bit tired this morning after our overnight so the crew and I are gonna have a sleep in, then maybe head into town for something more substantial than cereal. Perhaps brunch somewhere. Maybe a dip in the pool then head in to work about lunch time.
Let the boss know will ya. If he has anything to say about just drop the "f" word. No, the other one....FATIGUE.
