The BA takeover of British Regional Airlines has today cleared its final hurdle-approval by 90% of shareholders.The new company is to be called "British Airways City Express" and includes Brymon.BA want to align these two airlines,from a pax point of view,as "mainline seamless".British Regional has acquired more of BARs loss making routes this summer using its 49 seatEmb 145s.
The new structure is currently being formulated by a team of the top operational guys from BAR,BRAL/MANX and BRYMON.This is likely to continue for months rather than weeks-few details as yet but neither BRALs Isle of Man or Brymons south west HQ appear favourite as the focal point for the new organisation.
