Before I begin, can I just say at the onset this is purely an "out of curiousity" question, nothing more or less.
I was heading South on the M6 on Saturday and saw an light a/c nose down, but otherwise intact, in the crop field adjacent to the Microlight site between Jnc 12 and Jnc13. I am curious as to how it got there however. I have also seen a microlight in the same field a few months ago and wondered, as a glider pilot and given the size of the strip, why this particular field seems to have attracted a couple, or maybe more, of unscheduled arrivals.
Like I say, just a general interest question given the circumstances in which I saw the a/c in question.
