In the USA the military run Mid-Air Collision Avoidance (MACA) programs to try and reduce the number of accidents involving military and civil aircraft. One of their initiatives is the See And Avoid website ....

I wonder if such a resource would be valuable here in the UK, especially with our more crowded skies. Maybe the same could detail airspace infringements and other safety issues.
It seems that the authorities this side of the Atlantic could learn a lot by looking at what is happening in the USA, especially with regard to their use of internet technologies.
